The Friends are from a wide range of backgrounds with interests ranging from archaeology through natural, social & industrial history to fine art and artifacts.

The Museums & Gallery contain an extensive range of subjects which allows us to explore our broad range of interests & the relationships between them.

The money we raise by subscriptions and from the talks, visits and holidays which we organise goes entirely to support the Museums & Gallery.

Over the last 40 years the Friends of Lincoln Museums & Gallery have provided financial support on more than 120 occasions.

Our funds also support the presentation display and publicising of exhibits and exhibitions for The Collection, The Usher Gallery & The Museum of Lincolnshire Life for the education and enjoyment of the public. A recent purchase has been an Interpretation Panel for the Museum of Lincolnshire Life & a grant towards the refurbishment of The Usher Gallery.
